At moveOn 89 we fully subscribe to the words of Gray Cook who said, “first move well, then move often.” So whilst we have a passion for Pilates & Yoga in their purest form, we are most interested in the bigger picture of good movement which often starts with just simply moving, with play, with discovery. Our bodies were designed to move & to serve us within a balanced framework of strength & flexibility. But “lifestyle postures” lead to weakness & inflexibility, pain & often injury.
Our solution? Rediscover movement in its pure form & allow your body the freedom it once had as a child. Using the tools of Pilates, Yoga, Barre & HIIT we encourage you to play, bend, twist, jump, roll, laugh, be precise, be silly, be imperfect, laugh, stretch, unroll, soften & laugh some more.
All our teachers are armed with the basic tools of functional anatomy, physiology & nutrition & are fully trained in Pilates, Yoga and Personal Training, allowing them to teach Intelligent Movement. Our goal is to continue learning always in order to help you reach your goals. Come play!
